Business Transition Planning

Also referred to as “exit planning,” business transition planning is a comprehensive, structured process of helping a business owner plan for his or her sale of the business—on his/her terms. As with most planning tasks, exit planning is best initiated in advance while the business owner has time to prepare the business, its stakeholders, and themselves for the day when they will no longer be involved in the business. The following white paper, published by Business Enterprise Institute, discusses the inevitabilities of business owners one day leaving their business.  wp_inevitabilities
